Research On The Network Structure Characteristics Of Urumuqi Public Traffic

Urban traffic congestion problem, as main travelling problems with our daily life ", has caused the wide attention of scholar from all the world. As the main subject of urban transportation, it services and influences directly many travelling masses. Realizing the public transportation to the largest extent, servicing the maximum range of the masses and playing its maximum effect, we have to know the structure characteristics of urban public transport networks and play its potential to the best possible. It takes the urumqi bus network as the research object This paper will, and used the GIS technique combining with the complex network theory of special research methods as follows:First of all, the paper systematically introduces the basic theoretical knowledge of the complex network theory, and analyses the the parameters reflected characteristics of complex network structure and expounds the structure characteristics of different network model. At the same time, the complex network theory is applied to the practice of urban public transportation network. According to the practical application of public transport network practical needs of the network structure factors, have constructed the city bus network model and transfer network model;Then, using GEODATABASE data model provided by ArcGIS, as the main research object with the bus stations and bus lines,according to the city bus network model and transfer network model, design spatial database,and explore the spatial distribution characteristics of the data using with the GEODATABASE by the ArcGIS;Finally, using the ArcGIS and MATLAB software with the urumqi public transport network as the research object, analyses and calculates the characteristics of network degree and degree distribution, average shortest path length and clustering coefficient about the city bus network model and transfer network model, evidences the urumqi city bus network have network structure characteristics, and by combining conventional bus network analysis method, the network structure of urumqi common general characteristics are summarized. Meanwhile, combined with the research results to optimize the structure of urumqi public transport network opinions and suggestions are presented.
