With the development of economic and the improvement of building technology, the super-long concrete structures are applied more and more in our country. In order to meet the esthetic appearance of architecture and entirety of structure, there is usually no or less temperature expansion and contraction joint in these buildings, which leads to the length overstepping the value the code prescribed. For the super-long concrete structures, temperature stress is an important factor to make the structures cracking. So it is significant to analyze the temperature stress and research its valid control technique.In this paper, based on the existing research results and techniques, combining the theory analysis and the physical project, and taking the Xianyang international airport terminal as an example, the theory of temperature field is established, the calculated method of temperature stress is represented, and the resistant effect to the temperature action of post-cast strip, polypropylene fiber and UEA expanding agent is researched.The main contents of this paper are listed as followed:1. The research states of home and overseas about the temperature stress of the super-long structures are generalized;2. The elasticity theory of temperature stress is introduced simply, and the theory of concrete shrinkage and creep relevant to temperature effect is represented;3. The finite element software-MIDAS is introduced, and through the numerical analysis of temperature effect of the physical model which the entirety temperature difference is acted on, the temperature deformation and stress of the super-long concrete structure is obtained;4. In order to resist the temperature stress and shrinkage crack, post-cast strip, polypropylene fiber and UEA expanding agent are respectively applied in the design and construction of the super-long concrete structures, which show good effect.
