In the hot summer, the temperature of asphalt pavement can often reach about 50~60℃,such high temperatures significantly affect the ambient temperature, so that the ambient temperature also increased, which contribute the "urban heat island"; at the same time, the asphalt pavement surface temperature also contributed to the phenomenon of the generation of high-temperature rutting. This paper find a way to reduce the temperature of asphalt pavement based on the analysis of the asphalt pavement, and a new road called shading pavement which is coated with a solar heat-reflective coating is proposed. Then, Introduce the basic principles of heat-reflective coatings and components, and use A, titanium dioxide and carbon black as materials prepare the solar heat reflective coating, and then the solar heat reflective coating performance and cooling effect was evaluated, The results show:the drying time, adhesion, alkaline water of the solar heat-reflective paint have reached the regulatory requirements, and also has a good cooling effect, up to 7℃.This article focuses on the research of the skidding performance of the shading pavement, and two indicators are proposed to evaluate the skid performance-MTD and BPN. The skid performance is evaluated by measuring these two indicators, and shading pavement skid resistance was improved by adding ceramic particles in the coating. In addition, small-scale test road was pave, and evaluate the road skid resistance and the cooling effect. The construction requirements and technology of the shading pavement was introduced by combining the steps and experience of small-scale test road paving. And then the effectiveness of the shading pavement was evaluated.
