Urban road are mainly forms with asphalt pavement, continuously under t he heat radiation function by the sun, especially in summer, the massive quanti ty of heats obtains by the asphalt pavement absorption and is stored up in the asphalt pavement, and the characteristic intensified "urban heat inland effect". Therefore, this article has discarded the tradition "initiative" Using the coating in the Asphalt pavement to reduce the temperature.The paper,supported by th e term of "Asphalt pavements’ solar heat reflective coatings of mechanism rese arch and material development depressing UHI effect, which sponsored by the basic principle of solar heat reflective coatings, Through a lot of experiments, t he coatings were obtained the formula design and optimization, associating ever y component with local analysis and this paper made an evaluation on the red uce of the temperature with the coating in the Stone Mastic Asphalt.First of all, this paper analyzes the mechanism research and materials for the coating in the Asphalt pavement, then made UPR as the coating main sti cky material and modified by acrylic monomer, caused increasing in viscosity and improving flexibility. Comparing the three the room temperature cured in g el time, the paper obtained the coatings cured as MEKPO/naphthenate cobalt. The characterization further reveals the results of reasonableness by microscopic characterization of the resin.Secondly, four properties of a pigment which affect the reflectance of co atings refractive index, content and particle size have been investigated and det ermined the fillings as titanium dioxide Silica and hollow bead on the perform ance of solar heat reflective coatings. Further analysis of the relationship betwe en the spectra and the values of reflectance was carried out in order to develo p new species of dark-color pigments with high near-infrared reflectance studie d by orthogonal test; the optimal formula of solar heat reflective coatings was gained. The coating temperature reduction performance is studied through addin g different pigments and different contents of green.Finally,the UPR heat reflective coatings can be used to Asphalt pavement from the evaluation by physicochemical performance. According to the results of micro-characterization, it reveals it could be coated in the Asphalt pavemen t to reduce the temperature because of high reflecting property. Using tungsten light source instead of simulated sunlight test for indoor, this paper studied th e optimal dosage and temperature values with UPRC in Stone Mastic Asphalt. UPRC pavement can keep good wearing resistance, moreover, aftering adding t he anti-skid granules, the anti-skid granules have little effect on temperature re duction.
