Landing gear is an important component of the airplane, and the correct calculation of its dynamic performance ensures safe landing of aircraft. In the conventional design of landing gear, the fuselage is ususlly assumed as a rigid body, and the flexibility of fuselage is ignored. Flexibility of the large-scale modern aircraft become bigger and bigger, and the effect of flexible flexibility on the dynamic performance of landing gear must be discussed.In this paper, flexible airplane landing model and multi-mass equivalent model of fuselage are established. Based on MSC.Patran/Nastran, the finite element model of fuselage is created and the MNF is achieved. An aircraft model with flexible fuselage using virtual prototype is applied based on ADAMS/Aircraft, a series of simulations of dynamic responses are analyzed, and the differences of landing dynamic performance with different location of main landing gear are discussed.Research results show flexible fuselage is able to absorb landing energy,alleviate overload of landing gear and decrease the efficiency of shock absorber. Flexible effect of fuselage depends on the number of the fuselage modal superposition to a great extent and the location of the main landing gear. Form an overall point of view, fuselage flexibility must be considered and optimization design should be used in landing gear design of flexible airplane.
