The research project comes from Anhui Heli Forklift Truck Co., Ltd., and conducts detailed research and analysis on fluid coupling in the context of forklift usage. The internal flow field of hydraulic coupling has been calculated and the results are analyzed in detail by the modeling software Pro/E and the flow field analysis software CFD. The output torque of the fluid coupling under operating conditions is gained and is compared with the experimental data of the actual process which is provided by the manufacturers. The data under the Rated operating conditions is expanded to the entire working range by C language programming.This specific study content mainly covers the following aspects:(1) Using Pro/E software, by simplifying assumptions, to models, assemblies, and conducts interference analysis of Hydraulic Couplings various parts, with the parameterization method.(2) Extracts part of the flow channel entities, meshes the channel model in the gambit software, carry out quality inspection, and determines the boundary conditions and regions, combining with studying the situation, according to theoretical calculations.(3) Imports the mesh model to fluent software to conduct numerical simulation. Uses the selected model and algorithm to carry out the numerical simulation under the two conditions of 80% and 30% filling rate, Based on numerical simulation results, carries out comparative analysis and torque detection of the internal velocity field, pressure difference, liquid phase of fluid coupling under the different rates of liquid-filled and makes comparison with the experimental data to verify the accuracy and correctness of the numerical simulation(4) Based on simulation results, obtains the mathematical model of fluid couplings through Matlab programming and expands the test curve near the rated operating conditions to the entire working range through Matlab surface fitting.
