Attitude measurement is widely used in many fields including aviation, spaceflight, military industry, civil use and so on. The attitude measurement method based on array image sensor is widely used at present, but there is a contradictory between speed and precision so that does not meet the requirement of real-time measurement. An attitude measurement method based on multiple linear CCD is put forward in the paper, a hierarchical structure is employed in the measurement system, and the image acquisition and processing system of linear CCD is designed.A cylindrical lens and a linear CCD on its focal plane compose the one-dimensional camera, which can be used to do one dimensional measurement for a spatial point target. Such three one-dimensional cameras can determine the three-dimensional coordinate of a spatial point target, which is called the three-dimensional coordinate reconstruction subsystem. Three point cooperation targets are set on the object to be measured, and three sets of three-dimensional coordinate reconstruction subsystem are used to determine the three-dimensional coordinates individually,then the attitude measurement can be realized by corresponding geometric calculation.The hierarchical structure is employed due to the big scale of the whole system. The first level is one-dimensional camera, whose function is one-dimensional measurement. The second level is the three-dimensional coordinate reconstruction subsystem, whose function is to determine the three-dimensional coordinate by the position of image spot got in the first level. The third level is the attitude angle solution unit, whose function is to determine the attitude angle with the corresponding mathematical model by the three-dimensional coordinate of cooperative target points got in the second level.For the whole measurement system, the one-dimensional camera composed by optical system and linear CCD is the basic unit. The image acquisition and processing system of linear CCD is designed in the paper, including hardware manufacture and software realization. The noise of linear CCD is analyzed and suppression methods are put forward, and positioning method is used to increase the measurement accuracy. The image acquisition and processing system of linear CCD is proved to achieve a speed of 50 frames / s.
