Quartz gyroscope as a kind of micro inertia sensors has advantages of higher reliability, long life-span, small dimension and can work in execrable conditions, so it has wide prospect in military and civil domain. There are many kinds of quartz gyroscope products overseas, but domestic research is still underway. The driving circuits are an important part of quartz gyroscope system, and the performance of the signal that the driving circuits generate affects the micro-machined gyroscope's detection sensitivity and precision. For these reasons, the research on the design of driving ASIC chip for quartz gyroscope is presented in the dissertation.First, the equivalent electricity model of quartz gyroscope's driving mode is established and analyzed as AC characteristics in the paper. Then,a closed loop autonomous scheme has been decided and phase theory and amplitude theory of autonomous driving circuits of the scheme are analyzed. On these bases, the closed-loop autonomous driving circuits for quartz gyroscope are designed. The ideal circuit models are established using the ideal OP-AMP and behavior models of Hspice. The feasibility is verified by simulation. Secondly, the closed-loop autonomous driving transistor level circuits for quartz gyroscope are designed with 0.5μm technologies. The overall circuits of driving system are simulated and analyzed by Hspice. At last, the successful demodulation of detecting signal using the driving signal is verified, simultaneously the errors of driving circuits are discussed.Through the simulation results of the closed-loop autonomous driving transistor level circuits, it concluded that, setting time is about 30.0ms. The frequency jitter is 140Hz. Frequency stability is 0.0119%. Average frequency is 11840.0Hz, the frequency error is about 91Hz.The closed-loop autonomous driving circuits for quartz gyroscope can generate the stable driving signal via the research on the autonomous driving ASIC chip of quartz gyroscope. It is meaningful for the improvement of the miniaturization for quartz gyroscope.At last, the layout design is finished considering the matching designing,anti-interference designing and parasitism optimization designing. The post-simulation by Hspice shows that the driving circuits can satisfy the requirements.
