In the field of power drive, the electricity consumption by induction motor system is almost over 50%, and the 80% of the power loss is caused by copper loss and core loss both in stator and the rotor. The development of the frequency control greatly reduce the loss of the system, but low efficiency always exist while running with light load. The motor runs with light load, the reserch on the energy saving is quite important, especially in the energy conservation and pollution control. Improving the efficiency of induction motors will save a lot of power resources. This paper compares with mathematical model of induction motor, taking core loss into account and not. Based on the learning traditional vector control strategy, this paper advanced a new vector control strategy based on a new model with core loss resistance, and built a simulation model of induction motor in SIMULINK. This model simulated the real parameters of the motor input. The simulation results, there is slight difference in both static and dynamic state between the two models. Analyzing of the composition of the motor loss, this paper studies the theory about efficiency operating. It introduced Search controller(SC), the Loss Minimization Conrtoller(LMC), and compared with the advantage and disavantage both.Studied on the relationship between motor loss and parameter, and loss in different load torque, this paper built an efficiency control system based on a new vector control taking core loss into account. The new control system complete the rotor field orientation more accurate, and the simulation shows that optimal control of motor flux using the advanced vector control greatly reduced the controllable loss and improved the running efficiency. At last, based on the DSP chip TMS320F2812, this paper achieve the efficiency vector control with indution motor, and the overview about the hardware system.
