With the rapid development and promotion of distributed generation technology, microturbine generation system appears extremely superior in commercial application, technology promotion and scientific fields. This paper focuses on stability modeling of microturbine generation system for the parallel operation of microgrid, the establishment of the PWM converter control strategies and the development of stability simulation program. The Main research achievements are as follows:The stability modeling of parts of the microturbine generation system is finished, focusing on the modeling of the microturbine and the permanent magnet synchronous generator.Vector control technology is applied to double PWM converter used in this paper, the rectifier uses the dc capacitor voltage control strategy based on the rotor flux orientation, the inverter uses the PQ control strategy based on the stator voltage orientation. The explicit alternating algorithm based on four order Runge-Kutta method which is applied as stability simulation algorithm in this paper is described in detail, then the basic procedure of the stability simulation is listed, and on this basis, the stability model of the microturbine generation system is developed in C++.In the end, the dynamic response to the fault and operation of the microturbine generation system in grid-connected mode is researched using the standard test example of 18 nodes low voltage distribution system, with the comparison of simulation results with the commercial software DIgSILENT, the control strategy is verified to be effective and the model developed is verified to be correct.
