With the increasingly serious situation of the shortage of energy in the world, the growing consumption of coal resources and the serious pollution in China, promoting technologies of the energy conservation and emission reduction of the thermal power generating units has a significant role in building stability, economic and clean energy supply system in China. As one of the three most important power equipment systems, the boiler system is the equipment system of coal combustion, energy conversion and pollution emissions. Therefore, the modeling of the boiler system is an important base to study the performance of the boiler system in order to achieve energy-saving and emission reduction of thermal power units.Based on the analysis of refrigerant flowing into and out of the boiler system and the discipline of energy transfer, the boiler, pulverization system, air and flue gas system were all established respectively to reflect the energy transmission and system features. Under the platform of Simulink, equipments and the overall boiler system models were established and simulated in different conditions with the steady-state simulation analysis. The results showed that the boiler system models could reflect the discipline of energy transfer and the performance of the boiler system.Considering the current situation of coal blending and the effect to the boiler system, the model of coal blending was established. By the way, combined with simulation model of the boiler system performance, different coal blending results were simulated to analyze the effect to the boiler system in order to give a better blending model. This paper also developed the database and software of coal blending system, and the results proved the validity of the coal blending model.Under the work by this paper, there would be a more comprehensive study of system performance and optimization of boiler coal blending. And the model of boiler system thermal performance could be better used to study energy-saving and emission reduction of thermal power units.
