Green Urban Design Research

The development of a sustainable urban system is one of the important tasks of China and even the whole global within scores of years in the future. Green Urban Design referring to the high level of sustainability on every level. This idea oriented to the future must be put into effect in the concrete implementation process. Although some developing plans come from the cities'cultrural and economical needs, a lot of them are based on the blind decision.Under this background and out of the purpose of society fairness ,borrowing the updating theoretical and practicing research of domestic and international scholars, this work tries to take the urban design of the"Urban Design of Urban Area around Guangming Station of Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hongkong Passenger Special Line in Guangming District Shenzhen Muncipality"as an example , It gives a complete brief about how the"sustainable develepment"concept is applied to the Urban Design of Urban Area around Guangming Station of Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Passenger Special Line in Guangming District Shenzhen Municipality , and the innovative results achieved based on an integrated approach. It has created a theoretical framework for sustainable urban development.This model is suitable not only for the construction of new urban blocks but also for upgrading of certain city districts, and hope to finally find out new ideas for making Green Urban Design for nowadays Chinese fast developing country.This thesis contains 6 chapters.Chapter1: Introduction. This chapter present the research topic's background and purpose, summarize many ploblems of the Green Urban Design and consruction of nowadays china, and describe the framework and principle of the research..Chapter2: The city image and urban pattern of the Green Urban Design.Chapter3: The indicator system of the Green Urban Design.Chapter4: Investigate and analyse the background and principles of our"Urban Design of Urban Area around Guangming Station of Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Passenger Special Line in Guangming District Shenzhen Municipality".Propose our framework of this plan.Chapter5: As to the requirment of the green urban design, we analysis many aspects of this design in detail and summarize this thesis in a formal format.Chapter6: epilogue.
