This paper is try to solve the port clean up problem, which has been long time no good solution, by design and developing a cleaning device. Through realize the characteristics of port operations, utilize cad technology and experimental methods to analyze and study the cleaning method of the cleaning device, transmission device and roller brush design, developed a specialized cleaning device for the port ground successfully. Main thesis:Through analyze the request of port ground cleaning status, this paper got that the cleaning device should fulfill several conditions:strong capacity of cleaning, simple frame, low price, easy to replace the part, and so on; for reach the request of above conditions, through deep investigate all kinds of cleaning manner, finally this paper fix to adopt the Mechanical cleaning method; base on practical, efficient, simple design principles, this paper bold use the ZLM50B type of loader which produced by Changzhou Forestry Machinery Factory to modify, and install the cleaning device on the loader as work equipment, import the hydraulic system of loader to cleaning device as power, which meet the design requests and using the old equipment at the same time.Refine the design of cleaning device, fixed the roller brush speed and sweep speed, selected chain and sprocket, checked the intension of shaft, and choosed the appropriate hydraulic motor. Improve and extend the control system of loader, merge the cleaning device and hydraulic system into the control system of loader, make the cleaning device controlled by operator easily.This paper use "solidworks" software to design the cleaning device. Draw and modify the drawings according to the simulation by "solidworks" software that about working status of cleaning vehicles; use software to analyze the choosed bearing, forecast the using time limit, and modify the design. Software simulation increases the rationality of the design, and has great effect to analyze the capability of the cleaning device, avoid repeated design, accelerate product exploitation period and decrease the cost.Design a work experiment which has close correlation with real work to verify sweep functions and features of the sweep vehicle, and according to the characteristic of cleaning device to arrange cleaning process, achieve the optimal combination, fully use of existing equipment. The port cleaning device which designed and developed by myself has the characteristics of practical and low cost which other similar products on the market do not have, that is the best solution of field cleaning in port enterprise.
