In order to study the security and stability of the Hulunbeier grid after the interconnection between Mondon and Mengxi, the dispatching department of Hunlunbeier Power Bureau conducted a project named"Security and Stability Analysis of the Grid Interconnection between Mengxi and Mondon". The latest connect mode, which can be divided into three parts: the standard connection mode of 2007, the building of Haiya II and building Haiya II and Haiman III at the same time. Based on the above three parts, the project is studied in-depth, and provides the basis for 200MW generating units connecting to the grid. The main studies are listes below.1. Determine the conditions for the security and stability analysis.2. Study the transient stability of Hulunbeier grid, that is transient angle stability, transient voltage stability, transient frequency stability, etc.3. Determine the power transmission limits of the interfaces, the main power plants power limits, and the security and stability situation which caused by the fault trip of the large capacity generator, the substation bus fault, the main transformer failure and so on.4. In connection with the problems caused by the interconnection, specific measures are put forward and analysied.
