With the accelerating process of urbanization in China, the drainage system can not suffice the requirements in many cities, have already brought great inconvenience to the production and living of people, and cause many problems on urban construction and appearance of the city. How to map out a rational planning and management of urban drainage network, effective control the water pollution, improve the the city's comprehensive functionality, has become the important content for the urban construction and sustainable development. In the urban drainage system problems, urgently need to solve is make an accurate assessment for the drainage capacity of the drainage system, correct simulation the transmission effect of municipal sewer and the carrying capacity of the drainage facilities. Scientific operate and manage the drainage pipe network, use the commercial software for the drainage network simulation, analysis model results,find the problem of the drainage pipe network, by the transformation for the unreasonable existing pipe network, to get achieve reasonable economic emissions.In this paper some problems appears in urban drainage network, successful using the commercial software model for drainage modeling, then to support the engineering decision.First, describe and analyze the development status of drainage pipe network model systemically, investigate the theoretical basis of drainage pipe network deeply, introduce the commercial software for the municipal sewer system simulation in domestic and foreign, and based on the commonality of commercial software to describe the drainage pipe network system modeling technology route detailly. The technology route including: establish the unity, integrity and scientific data standard of the drainage pipe network system, check the topology to ensure the pipe network data ture and integrity, plot out the catchment area of the network nodes, select the exact program of the drainage flow data, describe how to set the precise parameters and the upstream and downstream boundary conditions, cooperate different simulation scenarios and options to calculate and check, and then accord the results and analysis to provide assessment and optimization for he various operating conditions of the status drainage pipe network.Second, combine the actual hydraulic modeling project of drainage pipe network in the D district G city, based on the InfoWorks CS software to establish the drainage pipe network hydraulic model, then progress a series of modeling technology research and example applicate. Realize the simulation calculate of the pipe network and pumping stations; evaluate the existing drainage systems and transportation system of pipe networks and pumping stations; confirm the bottleneck where cause the sewage overflow and the transmission capacity insufficient of sewage pipe network system; judge possible problems during drainage pipe network construction and operation; assess drainage capacity of the design program; propose the solutions for complex real-time control program, pumping stations and pipeline system transformation, expansion and design.Finally, this paper provides a scientific basis and reference for the urban drainage pipe network modeling.
