The concrete was the most amount of building material in the project, also was the most main structural material. The reinforced concrete structure has become the most widespread structure in the world. For a long time, people affected by the concrete is a building materials of good durability, so focus mainly on improving the strength of concrete but ignored the durability of concrete structures, cause the relative lag of durability research about concrete structures, and thus paid a heavy price.For the durability of concrete, the change and impact on the mechanical properties, shrinkage, water absorption properties, resistance to chloride ion penetration and resistance to freeze-thaw properties of concrete mixing silane were studied.The results show that, the strength of concrete that is adding silane and not adding silane is quite, some silane can improve the strength of concrete. Compared to the concrete that is not mixing silane, when mixed with MH50 emulsion, it can reduce the shrinkage of concrete. However, 851 silane,DRY CIT silane and WACKER silane can increase the shrinkage in varying degrees, this adverse to concrete structure of crack resistance,so we need cause attention. All silane products can reduce the water absorption of concrete in varying degrees, MH50 emulsion has the most obvious effect of reduce the water absorption, it can reduce the water absorption maximum reaches to 50.1% in the concrete that without admixture and reduce the water absorption maximum reaches to 47% for the fly ash concrete. After adding silane, all products can significantly lower the resistance to chloride ion penetration of concrete, MH50 emulsion reduce the resistance to chloride ion penetration effect most significantly and the DRY CIT lower resistance to chloride ion penetration effect is relatively small. Except the WACKER silane, freeze-thaw resistance of other concrete are reduced in varying degrees and the DRY CIT silane reduced most obvious, it was damaged because the cracks that generated through the concrete in 125 freeze-thaw cycles. MH50 emulsion will also reduce freeze-thaw resistance, freeze-thaw cycles in 250 has a very serious erosion of concrete surfaces. Layers of concrete will peel after adding 851 silane.According to results of the experiment, comprehensive evaluate the performance of four silane products on concrete, WACKER silane on properties of concrete is better than the other three silane.
