In the new century, the energy crisis and environmental pollution become increasingly serious. Clean energy of internal combustion engine became the focus of the world. In recent years, scientific research institutions at home and abroad is difficult for direct storage of hydrogen fuel characteristics, with methanol instead of hydrogen onboard, and the use of engine exhaust waste heat cracking hydrogen from methanol. The cleavage of hydrogen uses as a motor fuel and diesel hybrid, can solve the hydrogen fuel storage in the engine, carrying not only improve the engine's thermal efficiency, while improving emissions, the hydrogen fuel in the engine application is possible .Do not change the basic structure and parameters YC6A220C diesel, based on the location of the muffler (exhaust pipe outlet) installation of diesel engine exhaust heat cracking methanol plant, the use of hydrogen technology diesel engine exhaust methanol decomposition, a system of hydrogen-rich gas (methanol decomposition gas), and through the common rail system into the engine intake pipe and air mixture into the cylinder combustion. Designed a set of hydrogen - the common rail diesel dual fuel electric control system, so that the hydrogen rich gas into the engine through blending, through the analysis of different concentrations of hydrogen for combustion characteristics of diesel fuel. Because the conditions are limited, this paper tests the engine load characteristics and emission reduction, and the original machine when the direct combustion of diesel performance parameters were compared.The results show that compared with the original machine, after blending hydrogen, YC6A220C average diesel fuel consumption in each load reduction of 4%, and integrated thermal efficiency but increased by 1% while for the increased concentration of hydrogen reduction of fuel consumption also increased. And diesel engine fuel consumption in high load were significantly lower than the low load less, at 90% load, when the hydrogen concentration of 6% for the time, diesel fuel consumption decreased 6.0%, combined consumption decreased 2.6%. At the same time improve diesel engine emissions, NO_X and soot and other emissions are also reduced. For the high load of 6% hydrogen concentration can reduce NO_X emissions of about 42.8%. In high load, soot emissions can be reduced 41.6%. While HC emissions are also significantly reduced. Mainly because of hydrogen as clean fuel, thermal efficiency, improve the combustion environment to accelerate the activation of the diesel combustion and improved emissions.
