With the progress of science and technology level and the productivity level rising,Architectural design from function simplifies gradually to muti_function, multi-purpose.As high-rise building use the functional requirements are becoming increasingly complicated, the number of high-rise buildings on increasing, height of increased also, new building structure form was appear constantly. The multi-tower-connected structure with enlarged base is a new type of structure which is to conform to this complex high-rise structure changes, the theoretical analysis and research on it has important practical engineering significance.The double-tower-connected structure with enlarged base and transfer story is layout two towers on a large base, the two towers becomes a whole through the overhead connected, at the same time as needed large space in the enlarged base, need to set transfer story to achieve architecture function conversion.The"Technical specification for high-rise building reinforced concrete structures"(JGJ3-2002) and"the code for aseismic design of buildings"( GB5001-2010) make the part of the relevant regulations respectively on the multi-tower structure with enlarged base, the connected structure,and the transfer story structure. but hasn't involves the related contents wiht complex high-rise structure design. Such complex high-rise structure beyond the limit range of standard rules. belong to High-Rise Buildings Beyond Code. According to the provisions of the ministry of construction, Before the construction design Of High-Rise Buildings Beyond Code, All High-Rise Buildings Beyond Code should be make anti-seismic special review.Structural engineer are often faced with unexpected problems and challenges in the of High-Rise Buildings structural Beyond Code. This paper is to take this kind of complex high-rise structure form as the research object, reviews of the existing research results, meanwhile through a lot of finite element analysis model on its dynamic characteristics and seismic response analysis, summarizes the general dynamic characteristics and seismic response laws in such complex high-rise structure, draw very significant conclusions and suggestions for practical design,available to researchers and engineering designers reference. The study divided into the following several aspects:①The first chapter systematically introduces the double-tower-connected structure with enlarged base and transfer story, summarize the engineering application, characteristics and research status in this kind of complex high-rise structure,and for these complex high-rise structure damage were analyzed according to the summary of experience of all previous earthquake disasters, points out the major problems in this kind of complex high-rise structure.②The second chapter studies the analysis method and calculation model of the double-tower-connected structure with enlarged base and transfer story, meanwhile contrast and analysis the domestic and foreign existing computer analysis software, and choose the suitable computer analysis software. for this paper studies of these complex high-rise structure design.③The third chapter systematically introduces the aseismic design of relevant provisions for double-tower-connected structure with enlarged base and transfer story in the current design specification:structural anti-seismic design requirements in the code for aseismic design of buildings", transfer story structure and connected structural anti-seismic design requirements in the"Technical specification for high-rise building reinforced concrete structures", discusses the vibration characteristics, the number of vibration model selection and vibration model combining method.of the multi-tower-connected structure with enlarged base and transfer story.④The fourth chapter use ETABS finite element analysis software establish 23 species analysis model, using vibration model response spectrum method for example seismic response analysis of double-tower-connected structure with enlarged base and transfer story, respectively discuss:1) The seismic response analysis of the height equal double-tower-connected and the height equal multi-tower(unconnecte) structure with enlarged base and transfer story.2) The seismic response analysis of the height equal and height unequal double-tower-connected structure with enlarged base and transfer story.3) The enlarged base stories impact on the seismic response of the double-tower-connected structure with enlarged base and transfer story.4) The transfer stories impact on the seismic response of the double-tower-connected structure with enlarged base and transfer story.5) The connection(the position change of connection, the story change of connection,the connection mode change) impact on the seismic response of the double-tower-connected structure with enlarged base and transfer story. 6) The stress analysis of connection. summarizes seismic response law in different situations, and put forward the design analysis method and design suggestions of actual engineering.⑤The fifth chapter use Time History Analysis Method further analysis the seismic response analysis of double-tower-connected structure with enlarged base and transfer story, prevent vibration model response spectrum method calculation result leans to unsafety, further assure the safety and rationality of structure design.⑥The sixth chapter mainly discuss the structure performance-based seismic design method,using the static elastic-plastic pushover analysis method,to analyse the double-tower-connected structure with enlarged base and transfer story, Reveals the general law of plastic hinge sequence, the distribution of Plastic hinge and the weak layer (site) of structure. Using ability spectrum method further evaluated the seismic performance for such complex high-rise structure.
