The enclosure wall vibration-absorption structure is a safe, applicable and economical frame structure with MTMD system. The enclosure walls, as a mass damper in TMD, can overcome the shortcoming that the frame structures can't absorb energy continually. In order to study the vibration-absorption effect of the MTMD in enclosure wall structures and apply the MTMD technology in structure design conveniently, based on the vibration-absorption principle of MTMD systems and Parameter Optimal, damping parameters of vibration-absorption device in 1/3 scale MTMD-Steel Frame structure model are tested on shaking table and carried on the performance of the seismic response analysis and shock abortion.Related research content and conclusions are as follows:1.According to the principle and theory of the TMD system, the calculation model of the enclosure wall vibration-absorption structure, the principle of shock absorption and the method of parameter optimal designing parameters are analyzed. In order to get the best damping effect, reasonable mass ratio of the MTMD system and the optimal arranged method are discussed.2.The vibration and shaking table test are respectively carried on the general frame and MTMD-steel frame structure. From the hammer and shaking table test of them, the periods of the MTMD model are 3 times than those of the general frame's and the damping rate of the MTMD model is generally between 20% -40% under the different working conditions. It can be seen clearly that: MTMD-steel frame based on the enclosure wall vibration-absorption structure has a significant seismic reduction effect and could effectively decrease the peak of the seismic response.3.The vibration performance and the seismic response of the structure are studied by using the finite element software SAP2000's modal and time-history analysis. The results indicate that: the calculated seismic response of the MTMD-steel frame structure coincides with those of the test mode. From the analysis results, the enclosure wall vibration-absorption structure could effectively reduce the peak of the structural seismic response and the damping effect is affected by spectral characteristics of seismic waves. So the analysis method and results in this paper could provide an important reference for further research and the theory basis for construction design in seismic aspects.
