With the rapid development of the transportation, more and more high demand of theexisting transportation infrastructure construction, Evaluation of existing structures is criticalfor an efficient management of transportation. facilities, especially bridges. Knowledge ofactual load effects and structure resistance can be very helpful for the determination of theload carrying capacity and condition of structures. So it is necessary to determine the Maxcarrying capacity of the bridge to ensure the safety performance of the structure. Research onthe coupling system of vehicles and bridge, analysis of the dynamic performance of the bridgestructure and moving performance of the vehicles, and adopt corresponding countermeasuresto reduce the dynamic response of the bridge, which will make a great significance to thedevelopment of bridge engineering.The vehicle-bridge system consists in two subsystems at the interface of the bridge andvehicle. Establishing the equations of motion for the bridge and the vehicles respectively, Thedynamic responses of bridges are studied through numerical simulation method is presentedto analyze the coupling vibration response of vehicle-bridge system based on the samedisplacement and coupling force at the interface.In this paper, a simulated car of Dongfeng EQ3166, Based on30mT-section simplysupported beam bridge for the entity, established the three-dimensional finite element modelof the bridge, establish the generic vehicle model according to vibration theory, Thedifferential motion of vehicle-bridge coupled under simple beam bridge were deduced by thehypothesis of Euler-Bernoulli beam. The coupled equation system is performed with astep-by-step solution technique using the Newmark-β method, analyzed the dynamic responseof vehicle load in different driving conditions and different speeds.On the basis of vehicle-bridge coupling, investigated the structure vibration controlmechanism of MTMD, established the vibration equation of MTMD, and discussed theeffects of the multiple tuned mass dampers (MTMD) frequency range, damping ratio,generalized mass ratio, TMD number to the structural vibration control of MTMD. Combinedwith the bridge model in this paper, the reasonable parameters of the structural vibration control of MTMD were designed, derived the new vehicle-bridge coupling dynamic balanceequation that placed the MTMD in the position of the bridge, contrasted the dynamic responsecoupling system of the bridge with and without MTMD. The results show that MTMD onbridge’s vibration control is effective.The vehicle-bridge coupling vibration control and engineering application has a greatdevelopment prospects, but, there are also many problems need to be solved urgently. Afterthe efforts of the scientific research, in the near future, Structural vibration control technologywill play an important role in structure’s shock vibration reduction.
