Silo structures are taken as storage material of special structure. In coal industry, power industry, port industry, storage industry and many other field, silo structure have been widely applied by using its advantages such as operating mode simplely, economical use of land, protecting the environment, less wear and so on. For years, with the constant improvement of production needs, silo structures tend towards large scale, heavy load, high center of gravity. At the same time, the current"Code for design of reinforced concrete silos"is not perfect. So it has significant theoretical and future practical value for the finite element analysis and design method research on the prestressed concrete circular silo.In this paper, the large diameter prestressing concrete circular silo is taken as a research object. Furthermore according to come across questions while calculate and design about silo structure. The silo structures are analyzed prestressing simulating method, dynamic characteristic, soil-structure interaction, earthquake action effect and seismic performance by using ANSYS finite element software, discussed design method about silo structure.(1) According to the principle of the rink-like strands action, The mechanic performance analysis of cylinder thin-shell structure is carried out under uni-ring-like prestress and multiple ring-like prestress. It is proposed prestressing simulating method of prestressed reinforced concrete circular silo, in order that it is most convenient, accurate and effective to simulate silo structure action under prestressing load. (2) By analyzing the dynamic properties of the prestressed reinforced concrete circular silo, it is studied that the physical characteristics parameters of stored material influence on the dynamic properties of silo structure. On that basis, it is studied that the mechanic performance and seismic performance of concrete soil structure and the feasibility of simplistic calculating method for earthquake action.(3) The finite element model of silo-foundation spatial interaction is established, and analyzed the dynamic properties of structure. By varying the elasticity modulus of clay, analyzing the variation regularity about the dynamic properties of structure. At the same time, Adpoted the method of time history analysis,the dynamic analysis under earthquake that based on the structure are got, it is studied that the mechanic performance and seismic performance of concrete soil structure under between considering interaction and not by using the method of time comparative analysis, investigate the mechanism of structures–soil interaction.(4) According to"Code for design of reinforced concrete silos", aspects of silo categories, prestressed design, calculate of horizontal seismic actions Etc discuss the design method of a prestressed reinforced concrete circular silo. At the same time, by analyzing adaptability and discussing thoroughly some articles.The research will be base for such silo structure in future analysis and engineering design.
