Focus on the city of western drought areas, through investigate several kinds of buildings in Xi'an city, know about the traditional sewerage system's water and energy consumption, and with experimental research vacuum sewerage system's water and energy consumption. Through data comparison, analysis respective water and energy consumption of the two systems.For vacuum sewerage system water-saving effect is analyzed, if vacuum sewerage system used for residence, can save 75% of the toilet water consumption, and can save the whole house's water more than 35% of the total. In all kinds of buildings adopted vacuum sewerage system, average water-saving is more than 40%;in office buildings, water saving rate could exceed 70%.In energy consumption aspects, with the unit sewerage of energy consumption calculation, vacuum drainage system's energy consumption is more, general for 0.3 ~ 1kw·h/m3 (take 0.4); according to a sewage treatment plant annual statistics calculation in Xi'an, the traditional sewage system power consumption for 0.2 ~ 0.3 kw·h/m3. But the quantity of vacuum sewerage system take the traditional sewage system's only 1/4, in over a certain population scale, vacuum sewerage system is more energy efficient.Makes a thorough analysis in a vacuum sewerage system and wastewater reuse system promotion feasibility, thought in arid regions, compared the traditional sewage system, the more feasible association is vacuum sewerage system and anaerobic compost reactor, accord with the regional development rule. High concentrations of wastewater collected by vacuum sewerage system that after pretreatment, by biological treatment will decompose into organic manure rich in high nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium or soil improver .Take the identification and quantitative analysis of vacuum sewerage system and reactor coupled system use the life-cycle assessment (LCA), and with traditional sewage system parallel contrasted. Whatever in resource consumption, energy consumption, or in environmental protection, vacuum sewerage system has a great advantage.With the development of society, the urban population increase, as traditional sewerage system effectively complement, in new residential quarter and new rural communities construction and so on, vacuum drainage system is a good choice.Combined with the characteristics of western arid regions, take Xi'an city as the object, research and analyze the vacuum sewerage system and gravity sewerage system from water consumption, energy consumption and other aspects, analyzes the advantages of buildings adopted vacuum sewerage system in economy, environmental protection and resource utilization, provides the basis for managers to make decision.
