Collaborative Design has always been a hot research issue of Computer Supported Cooperative Work. It's efficiency first today and in today's network environment, To improve the collaboration is crucial for a company to improve its competitiveness nowadays. Animation industry has a huge market with big potential and wide prospect. Therefore, It is of great practical significance and wide application prospects in building an collaborative environment which using computer technology to simulate the cooperative behavior of employees and enhance the employees' ability to collaborate for the animation industry.Recently, the research of text-based collaborative design systems have had significant results in both domestic and international, However, the research of X3D-based collaborative design systems is still relatively small. In a sense, the process of collaborative design is actually to eliminate the conflicts. However, X3D-based collaborative design systems as opposed to general text-based collaborative editing systems are much more complicated, such systems'Conflict Detection and Resolution is a relatively complex process, the general theory of text-based collaborative editing systems do not fully apply X3D-based collaborative design systems.The process of collaborative design is actually to eliminate the conflicts, research and realization of a Communicative and Collaborative Design System Based on X3D has been done. The thesis based on the collaboration management method. Analysis are given about theory and conflict type in a CSCD(Computer Supported Cooperative Design) environment. Conflict detection mechanism is analyzed. Specifically, analysis is given to conflicts of multi-object's concurrent operation, operation timing sequence and different operation types. Algorithms based with X3D CSCD is given and tested to detect operation conflicts and concurrent operation.The Practical results show that the system based on the theory of X3D-based collaborative systems can effectively detect and eliminate the conflicts and can better complete the process of collaborative design, but yet the current system completed does not support multi-object's elimination of the conflict.
