When the concept of real-time substructure test has been proposed, it was evoked scholars'common concern. Because of its unique advantages and experimental real-time requirements, hence it is different from the traditional test methods, it is relatively more complicated. Real-time substructure testing is a hybrid test method which combined computer calculation and physics experiment. As the civil engineering structural characteristics of more than a few degrees of freedom, allowing real-time substructure testing key scientific issues and reseacrh focus primarily focused on these two aspects the numerical integration methods and loading control testing system.This article on these two points made the following work:(1) First, reseacrh progress and problems of real-time substructure testing methods was discussed, and the issue should be further studied was point out and then related reseaCRh was carried out in the presence problems.(2) Based on the study of one degrees of freedom, the traditional explicit numerical integration methods of center difference method and Chang method were taken into account in this study. Through the changes of mass ratio, stiffness ratio, damping ratio about experiments substructure and numerical substructure to obtain the changes of the stability about the numerical integration methods. Examples are carried out analysis and comparison under earthquake simulation about these two kinds of numerical integration methods.(3) Two kinds of traditional implicit integration algorithms are compared and the relationship between the two is analyzed and the displacement of the experimental substructure is forward difference, so the speed of experimental substructure is explicit, the expression of acceleration of central difference method is introduced, using a combination of implicit explicit numerical integration algorithm,a real-time simulation analysis is carried out by Simulink.(4)CR method is applied to real-time dynamic hybrid testing for shaking tables of MDOF, taking into account the actuator delay and delay compensation, numerical analysis results show that the CR method for hybrid shaking table test is feasible, and third-order extrapolation compensation works well to the CR method(5) The effect of the experiment substructure mass ratio to the system of a single degree of freedom system in real-time substructure testing with the method of control theory.
