In recent years, lots of countries in the world have the own researches on manned lunar landing program. China is also at the manned lunar landing project pre-feasibility study stage. In the course of the lunar landing, the rendezvous and docking is essential between lunar landing compartments, and the docking dynamic simulation in the manned moon landing project is also extremely important. Since our launch vehicle scope is limited, it is suggested that a docking program of four launchings and three dockings. In this paper, the manned lunar landing project as background, Study on the docking process dynamics of this docking program. The main works of this paper include the following aspects:It is summing-up the development of docking mechanism and docking simulation technology. Make a detailed description of several typical docking mechanisms. Analysis of the structural characteristics of the various docking mechanism and the major applications, summarizes the development of mathematical simulation docking process.It established the Peripheral docking mechanism model. Give 20 kinds of touch types in the docking process between the docking mechanisms of lunar landing compartments. And all contacts were analyzed in detail. By using the Newton-Euler method, the mathematical models were established at all phase of docking process, including kinematics, dynamics and forces of the models.Use ADAMS software to establish the docking model simulation, which uses a more accurate physical model of the docking ring. The active and passive lunar landing compartments are been instead by cylinder. The simulation model includes physical models, the geometric model of Docking simulation, the main thrust, the buffer forces, contact force models, sensors, and simulation scripts,etc.Use the established simulation model, to simulate the docking process of capture stages and buffer stages. The results of ADAMS simulation were compared. Verification of the adaptability of the buffer system Analysis of the affecting factors of docking process, to research the impact on the docking process, includes: equivalent parameters of buffer system, friction at contact points, thrust, the inertia of the buffer, etc. By analyzing the results of simulation, we hope to give some suggestions about how to choose the initial docking conditions and to design the structural. In this paper, the feasibility of manned lunar landing program was demonstrated. Provide an important reference for the manned lunar landing project.
