Tianjin is rich in low-temperature geothermal resources. Meanwhile, a serious water shortage in Tianjin as a city in North China, groundwater particularly on geothermal resources in the economic development of Tianjin, an extremely important role. Tianjin takes the northern region serious water scarcity the city, the ground water terrestial heat water resources has the extremely vital role particularly to Tianjin's economic development.With the deepening environmental awareness and resources shrinking, how reasonable the development, management, protection of groundwater resources has become the focus of current resource management.Analysis and evaluation of water quality, as an important component of groundwater resource management of resources plays a very important role and has a vital significance.This article briefly describes the current use of domestic water quality evaluation methods and proposed method using the BP artificial neural network analysis and evaluation of water quality. Combination of the calendar year through access to information and monitoring data, was proposed for the evaluation of groundwater standards, and use this criteria to evaluate groundwater quality.This method base on MATLAB, application of BP Artificial Neural Networks theory, use MATLAB toolbox function, function as a training algorithm, greatly simplifying the complicated data processing. Use standards as training samples, and the actual sample data using a large number of test data, the results were compared with results of other methods, confirmed the scientific credibility of this method.Analysis and evaluation of this method as a method of water quality than other methods, algorithm is simple, fast operation, and small features outside influence, and in line with real results and high, high reliability of evaluation results. This method can also be used for other similar resources, analysis and evaluation work, because the purpose of evaluation of a number of different factors change, it can be applied to other types of water quality analysis and evaluation.
