The development of automobile industry and continuous improvement of product standards are propelling the progress of the technology of automobile experimental evaluation. In present automobile market of fierce competition, both single indexes and holistic performance of different brands of automobile or same brand automobiles before and after improvements are need to be compared. The all round performance of entire car is necessarily to be optimal matched according to specific performance proportion during the process of product development and to be verified during the phase of product approval. Therefore, it is especially necessary to set up the subjective assessment system suitable for drivers.Following research work were carried out in this paper:( 1) Enumerated dynamic evaluation index items and grade methods by domestic and foreign automobile manufacturers and evaluation organizations were analyzed. The subjective assessment method of ten-point system was established in this paper, combined with actual situation of automobile assessment in our country.(2)Dynamic properties and braking performance of automobile were chosen as the research object. The concrete items and indexes of dynamic and braking performance subjective assessment were put forward. The theoretical basis of each index was analyzed briefly, and the grade method and experimental method were determined.(3)The structural model of stratum analysis on dynamic properties and braking performance was built up. The interrelation of the indexes was analyzed and the weight of each single index was calculated. Finally, according to the practical subjective assessment data provided by tree experienced full-time evaluation engineers for a Dongfeng commercial vehicle, weighted calculation of the indexes was carried out. The calculated all round performance evaluation agreed well with the result of total subjective assessment by the engineers, which verified the rationality of weight analysis for dynamic properties indexes.The research is of applicable value for automobile manufacturers to set up a subjective assessment system of automobile dynamic properties.
