As society's increasing demand for energy, the problem of energy security increasingly highlight. The problem Caused by the use of traditional energy in the form of "global warming" are also increasingly prominent. Renewable clean energy as a new form of energy are taken more and more attention, and solar energy as an inexhaustible, clean energy can be used, how reasonable and efficient use solar energy is placed in front of us as a major issue.From the perspective of solar photovoltaic power generation project, this paper analysis the existing theories of photovoltaic power generation, and sum up the research products of domestic and overseas PV projects impact factors, and combine with the existing status of PV project operation and maintenance, pointing out that existing PV theory is lack of solar photovoltaic fouling theory. Based on this, proposing that it need to take dust as an important factor to do in-depth research, then propose the photovoltaic fouling theory.Secondly, do research on PV fouling theory. The theory is divided into two parts. The first part is mechanism of photovoltaic power generation performance effects by fouling. Study on the causes of fouling on photovoltaic panels'surface area, and classify dust from physical properties, chemical properties and the fouling of attached forms on the angle of the PV effect by fouling, and get result of three photovoltaic panels fouling effect: "the photovoltaic panels fouling shielding effect, the photovoltaic panels fouling temperature effect, the photovoltaic fouling corrosion effect."The second part is the dust model of the photovoltaic panels surface area, point out that there are two important factors affect the amount of photovoltaic surface area dust: the dust fall quality and rainfall, and both of their models were established based on the photovoltaic power generation, then give out "three scenarios" model: no erosion model, non fully wash erosion model and fully wash erosion. At last, form a unified expression of the amount of dust on the surface area of photovoltaic panels.This article takes the field test of the fouling effect of photovoltaic power generation, the experimental results show significant effect of fouling on the photovoltaic power generation. Based on this, propose a factor which can evaluate the effect of fouling to the performance of photovoltaic power - PV fouling coefficient, study and analysis the four major factors: weather conditions, dust properties, installation of photovoltaic panels angle, fouling state. Then do the experiment of PV-fouling factor, find out that the dust effect to photovoltaic power generation in dry loose fouling and bond fouling state, and get the PV fouling coefficient relationship between them.This paper sets photovoltaic project cleaning contrast experiments, they are non-automatic cleaning system and mechanical cleaning systems. Analysis the experimental results with PV—fouling factor, carrying out by rainy and dry seasons respectively. At last come out how to make decision of photovoltaic power generation projects, cleaning system design, operation and other key technologies according to climate characteristics especially the rainfall.Finally, give the application of the PV—fouling factor in the solar photovoltaic project decision-making, design, operation and management.
