The simulation and experiment study on Solar-Ground Coupled Heat Pump with Energy Storage—Seasonal storage in soil & Phase change heat storage (SGCHPES) system was carried out. Analyses on the SGCHPES operation mode, energy storage (Seasonal storage in soil & Phase change heat storage) and energy utilzation were also obtained.Based on TRNSYS platform, the model was established and simulation study was carried out on: solar-ground coupled heat pump hot water system, ground coupled heat pump system, seasonal storage in soil and phase change heat storage, system energy consumption of every month, season and year, energy combination and matching relationships between solar and ground source, and their contribution ratio, the temperature and energy balance in soil. In a year, renewable energy (solar and ground source) is 84% of the total, the ratio of solar and ground source is 31% and 69%.The experiments on a demonstration project of SGCHPES in Tianjin from June 2009 to March 2010, the temperature and energy balance in soil in winter & summer with & without seasonal storage were obtained resperctively. The experiments on solar collector and ground coupled heat pump system, and operation conditions of heating and air-conditioning were analyzed. The proportion of solar, ground source and electricity is 13%, 59% and 28% resperctively, renewable energy (solar and ground source) accounted for 72% of the total energy consumption.
