Study On Green Strategy Of Urban Open Space

The Green Strategic Research of Urban Open Space is one of the serial studies of Green Urban Design.With the deterioration of global eco-environment and the growing shortage of resources, the living condition of human beings is facing more and more threats. The habitation of human beings—city, consumes the most energy resource, which accounts for 70% of the whole. The healthy sustainable development of the city is essential to the survival of mankind. Against this background, sustainable development and ecological awareness have become the hot issues which have drawn extensive attention from both domestic and overseas field of urban design. It has brought the green urban design led by ecological sustainability into being.Based on the analysis and deduction of the urban design development, the paper points out that the Green Urban Design is an inevitable product of the times. Accordingly, based on the analysis of the ideas of eco-city development and typical cases at home and abroad, a Chinese environment-oriented Green Urban Design system is put forward here in the paper. The system constructs a sustainable green urban design system of energy saving and emission reducing via the control and guidance on morphology, land use, transportation, open space, energy saving building, infrastructure, etc.In addition, focusing on the urban open space, the thesis elaborates the strategies of green urban design from the layout of open space and design guidelines of different types of space. And in the case-analyzing section, the overall city of Macau is taken as the example to analyze and review the systematical strategy of Green Urban Design.Green Urban Design Study has just taken its first step, but a bright future can be anticipated. At the end of the thesis, issues existing in the research of green urban design as well as the future development are evaluated and prospected.
