Once the ship damaged at sea, it will pose a serious threat to crew and ship safety. If the liquid cargo or fuel oil leak, it will cause great damage to the marine environment. If damage occurs accompanied by roll, it May lead to more serious consequences. Previous studies discussed Damage ship floating state after flood, but rarely involve damaged ship in time-domain. This paper takes the damaged ship in time-domain as research object, quasi-static as method, by means of solving the float balance equation of damaged ship in time domain computes the change of float condition and fluid exchange of damaged ship in time-domain. As for the damage occurs accompanied by roll, the paper takes the linear roll theory as basis, combined the roll equation and float balance equation, computes and analysis the roll motion of damaged ship in time-domain.When calculate the liquid flow in damages hole, The paper proposes a new method of calculating the exchange of oil-water with different densities and immiscible based on the basic principles of liquid flow, solves the previous calculations only consider water inflow or oil outflow without taking into account the exchange between them, and this method could provide help in engineering. In order to research the influence of fluid viscosity and the size of damaged hole for damaged ship in time-domain, the paper takes a 5000DWT ship as an example, calculates and compares several case with different liquid viscosity and hole property. The results showed the liquid viscosity and hole property both have impact on damaged ship in time-domain.This paper proposes a new method to research the damaged ship in time-domain, and this method could provide help for rescue of damaged ship and pollution prevention in practical application, and also provides a new way for future research of damaged ship.
