With China's rapid development, Shanghai, boasting the leading position in China's reform and opening up, is one of the most representative cities. Meanwhile, Pudong, the forefront of the development in shanghai, is an sign of success of the region. The development of Pudong represents the new face of urban development in Shanghai and even the whole country. In 1990, the State Council officially approved the development and opening up of Pudong New Area, Shanghai. With two decades Development, Small Lujiazui District, Pudong has become the most representative gathering area of super high-rise buildings in China. Therefore, the research on the super high-rise buildings of Small Lujiazui District has the typical and positive meaning, which will be able to provide theoretical foundation for the future super high-rise buildings development of other domestic cities.According to Gestalt theory and visual perception psychology, with the visual analysis method and the field survey the paper has a comprehensive research of the spatial forms outside super high-rise buildings in Small Lujiazui District. Summarize the problems of its development process and provide theoretical foundation for the region's future development of super high-rise buildings. Also designed to focus on the harmonious development of the super high-rise buildings, the city and the society and lead more attentions to the further thought of spatial forms outside super high-rise buildings. And the basic content includes: Chapter I is the introduction, elaborated the researching background, the goal, the significance, the objects and the methods, and the narration and the analysis of the domestic and foreign relating researches. Chapter II elaborates the principles, methods and content of the research. And it also summarizes the development of the spatial forms outside super high-rise buildings at home and abroad. From the Bund viewpoints, which arcoss Small Lujiazui District, Chapter III analyzes spatial forms outside super high-rise buildings in three parts includes the city image, the spatial levels outside super high-rise buildings and the skyline. Chapter IV has the same research method as Chapter III, which analyzes them in the serial vision, the focal point and the screened vista. Chapter V comprehensively summarizes the research of the spatial forms outside super high-rise buildings in Small Lujiazui District. Finally is the conclusion summarized the contents of the first five chapters, and emphasizes the harmonious development of the super high-rise buildings, the city and the society and led more attentions to the further thought of spatial forms outside super high-rise buildings.
