With the development in both yield and models of domestic automotive production in recent years, the automotive market requires more for the efficiency and quality during automotive-relative productions. Automotive cluster management system is an important component of automotive body electronic system, the main function of automotive cluster is to improve driver's comfort level and provide vehicle information for the driver. Therefore, the production of automotive cluster PCB is of great vital, and in the premise of ensuring quality, increasing efficiency is in urgent demand.The purpose of this paper is to develop a realistic designed and flexible production line according to PCB automatic soldering requirements. The first half of the line are plug-in and installation of components and the process of automatic soldering by machines; while the second half includes soldering quality AOI, FCT and automatic spraying equipment, which are the key equipments, and also the highlights of this paper.This paper introduces the automotive cluster development status of PCB production and implication of the research at the beginning, then describes the overall design of the production line, system hardware and software platforms, after that introduces the concrete test process method, finally proves the theory of software development of key equipments in practice.The main research work of this paper is listed as follows: According to the characteristics of the machine solder joints, combined with image processing theory such as threshold segmentation and image matching, develops automatic optical inspection system using LabVIEW IMAQ module. The control system are programmed in PLC, LabVIEW and robot programming language together;Develops the functional test system, the purpose of which is to have appearance-qualified PCB take a series of functional test towards circuit components, detecting warning lights conditions and parameters such as current value through CAN bus and serial communications;Develops automatic spraying operation for the qualified PCB from AOI and FCT equipments, controls the robot motion and automatic spraying trigger through software;Develops software of real-time data acquisition and analysis, provides traceable statistical work, uses configuration file to increase flexibility of the system.From the application point of view, the system is stable, user-friendly, and easy to upgrade and expand.
