With the rapid development of civil aviation, aviation competition increase intensely. The passengers concerned about more the safety of aircraft rather than its flight performance. To ensure the crew surviving in accident, the failure of fuselage must absorb enough kinetic energy due to falling hit. So the civil aircraft crashworthiness research in recent years has been given more and more attentions. Anti-aircraft crash performance (crashworthiness) is the capability of aircraft and onboard systems that protecting pilots and crew from injured in a potential survival crashIn this thesis, the crashworthiness of three different cabins (with a large open in fuselage cabin, typical fuselage cabin, and composite skin fuselage cabin) were analyzed. The results show that three different fuselage cabins meet crashworthiness requirements of airworthiness.The acceleration response of the region with a large open area in the cabin structure slightly larger than the other side and the outside acceleration response is also slightly larger than the inside. Contact forces in the three models reach maximum at the moment of contact, and then decrease to zero gradually. However, in the typical cabin and composite skin cabin, when deformation of the material exceed the maximum plastic deformation, the contact force increased again to reach a second peak due to frame fracture.The influence of stiffness of open area on the seat acceleration are significant at the region with large open area, as the stiffness increases, the peak acceleration response decreases firstly, then shows steady, and finally increases;The time of acceleration peak appears become more and more later with the increase of stiffness; the deformation of the whole cabin decrease with the increase of stiffness.Compared with the response of the fuselage cabin with metal skin, the peak acceleration response of seats of fuselage with composite skin is lower and acceleration response is gentler, which indicate that the composite skin has better crashworthiness than the metal skin if the static strength meets requirement.
