Based on the extensive exploration of the application and features of the international and domestic ship design software and analysis about the development trend of the ship's electrical computer-aided design technology in detail, according to the functional requirements in the aspect of ship electrical digital intelligent design from the project "Knowledge-based Ship Intelligent Design System" , the "Knowledge-based Ship Electrical Design System" (KSEDS) is put forward in this article; And then the key technologies in the system are researched, including the methods of digitalizing the design objects, the way of parameterizing electrical function module, planning of the design process, modeling the marine electrical digital information model, and redesign technologies; Finally, based on these key technologies, the KSEDS is implemented. A feasible reference about ship electrical intelligent design system is provided in this article which includes eight chapters.The first chapter, the application and features of the international and domestic ship design software are analyzed. The technology trend of marine electrical CAD is discussed. On this basis, the problems of marine electrical design software are raised. At the same time, the major coverage and the origin of this title are introduced.The second chapter, integrating the detailed analysis about the current domestic marine electrical design patterns, software application and development trend, the functional requirements of KSEDS is analyzed. The frame of the KSEDS is put forward. And then, the key technologies of development KSEDS are discussed and their feasibility are studied.The third chapter, based on the features of KSEDS, the principle and way of digitization, parameterization are researched. And their applications in the KSEDS are studied which include the digitalization of design objects and the parameterization of ship electrical functional unit.The fourth chapter, on the basis of the analysis about the demand of the ship design process and its tasks division in parallel design and collaborative design, the process of ship electrical design and the mission planning of the part in design group are studied.The fifth chapter, what including in the digitize information model of intelligent marine electric design system is analyzed. And then the integration method of the processes control, ship data and equipment data is studied. And a digital marine electric information database framework based on the integrative model is built.The sixth chapter, based on the digital parametric design method in Knowledge-based Ship Electricity Design System (KSEDS), this article introduce the AutoCAD ActiveX technology and the extended data (XData) technology, and put forward a way of redesigning AutoCAD drawings (.dwg) using these technologies.Finally, the application of technology KSEDS is researched. The seventh chapter, on the basis of the study of the key technologies in above paragraphs, KSEDS is implemented, including integrated design of database and the functional modules of KSEDS.The eighth chapter, the problems encountered in the process of KSEDS developed is summed up. The development work program in the future development is planed, and the applications potential of KSEDS is looked forward.
