Coal combustion is the main source of electric power in our country, but it is acommon phenomenon that the fuel of large-scale power plant have deviated from thedesign coal, which resulting in a series of problems during combustion process. A lot ofmethods have been advanced to solve these problems by domestic and foreign scholars.Coal Blending Technology and adjustment of coal combustion technology has been widelyused in our country, because of its good maneuverability, notable efficiency and low cost.And these two methods are not isolated to each other, so there will be of great help forpractical operation if we can optimize the two methods in overall. based on the optimalratio of blended coal,thesis try to make a research on the optimization of combustionadjustment.Research on the characteristics of coal combustion is the basis for coal blending.Thesis selects the typical coal and the blend coal of Zhanjiang power plant as the researchobjectives. Analyze its combustion characteristics through experimental data, combiningwith the consideration of the price factor, determine the best blend ratio of coal though thefuzzymathematicalmethods.Thesis studied the actual status of plant in two different models: single mixturefraction/PDF approach and two mixture fraction/PDF approach in order to select a moreprecise model of the blend coal combustion simulation. The comparison from the thermalstate experiments demonstrate that both methods can reflect the boiler processcharacteristics; while the analysis of the results indicate that adopting the two mixturefraction methods can more accurately reflect the characteristics of blended coalcombustion.In the actual status of power plant, combustion regulation is a very common andimportant methodtoimprovecombustionconditions. Accordingtodifferent blendcoal,thethesis designed different air distribution methods. Having studied the combustion andpollutant emissions characteristics of boiler by the numerical stimulation method, furtheranalysis have been done to compare the characteristics of different blend coal, optimizing theairdistributionmethodswithdifferentcoal.Themainconclusions ofthis paperareas follows: Centralized primaryair canbeusedto improve the combustion characteristics of coal and keep the efficiency of boiler.Distribute air in reverse pagoda style can reduce the discharge of NOX because the stylecan strengthen the effectiveness of staged combustion. According to different coal andoperationrequirements,differentadjustmentshouldbetakingtoimprovethecombustion.
