Research On Digital Relay Test System And Transducer Technology

IEC61850 is a latest international standard for the seamless communication architecture in SAS,it reflects the trend of substation automation technology,and arouses extensive concern of people who are engaged in Power System field.Simultaneously,in the field of transducer in digital substation,the electronic current transformer based on Rogowski coil is expected to be more widely used in substation automation system.This paper analyses the transient character of integrator circuit in electronic current transformer based on Rogowski coil,also it discusses the investigation and development of digital protective relay test system,the main focuses of this paper are as follows:The novel test system of digital protective relay based on IEC61850 is proposed in this paper;the whole project is designed in hardware for this test system,several function modules are put forward according to the needs of test system,also the communication protocol flow is established;the matched test manage and analyse system is developed and the key problems are figured out in the process of research;this test system's debugging is finished,and it passes the examination at last..This paper focuses on the actual needs of relay protection,analyzes the dynamic characteristics of digital integrator which is utilized by electronic current transformer; According to the requirements of precision design and the complex extent of calculate,lots of digital integrator algorithms are discussed. With the help of power system transient electromagnetic simulation software PSCAD/EMTDC, the desirable results is got. From the perspective of practical engineering, the problems and solutions which should be highlighted in the practical application are raised.
