Urbanization in China is soaring at the time being. During in the process of urban'large-scale construction and renovation, some new problems have emerged in resent years, which the"Sunshine Rights"being paid close attention. The original purpose of urban construction is to create a healthy and pleasant living environment, but due to the dense buildings and high strong construction, some cases, as environmental degradation and living conditions reduction, have brought negative impact to the townscape. These make us think about the issues such as urban environment, spatial morphology, development benefits etc.So, firstly in this discourse we will elaborate the sunshine concepts and principles, depict the calculation principle of altitude and azimuth in different times and reasons. Then, the urban spatial morphology is reviewed and theoretical framework is founded, which is beneficial to research the urban spatial and morphology in the view of sunshine standard. The urban spatial morphology includes two aspects such as level and elements: the level including region, city and neighborhoods; the elements including open space, land, streets and skylines. Therefore, based on the study of different countries'sunlight standards, we discuss three kinds of typical sunlight control mode. By reference, examples, diagrams and contrast methods, we study the different urban spatial morphology affected by these three typical sunlight standards and discover the urban spatial morphology's change styles. At last, through the analysis of China's current sunlight standard in the view of urban spatial morphology and urban planning management, we research the necessary and shortage of the current sunlight standard, the improvement of the sunlight standard and control mode to be used in process of urban construction and planning management.
