The rapid development and wide application of information technology not only deeply changed the social form, but also changed the form of war regardless the people's will. Modern warfare is the inevitable result of the rapid development of military technology and the evolutionary progress the form of war. The changes of warfare inevitably will lead to the changes of logistical means, water supply engineering support as an important part of logistics, how to adapt to the new warfare, how to meet the requirements of modern warfare, is the key problem for our army to be solved. This study is regard modern warfare as background, based on the northwest theater battlefield environment,trying to change the traditional way of water supply, researching to establish flexible, fast and efficient logistical mode based on combat missions, so as to improve our military capacity of water supply of modern warfare all around. The main content as follows:First of all, the thesis elaborated the concept of modern warfare and the newest requirements to water supply engineering support, provided the procedures and methods of water supply engineering support, and analyzed the environment of war and the standard of drinks water of modern warfare, divided the hydrographic environment of battlefield and established the process model of water supply engineering support, and developed typical water supply engineering support plan of different water source based on the model.Secondly, the thesis ,based on the process model of water supply engineering support, established an evaluation index system of water supply engineering support plan and elaborated the feasibility of using fuzzy comprehensive evaluation and the gray relatiive analysis method to evaluate the plan, offered the specific optimization methods according to the requirements of modern warfare.Finally, through an example of military exercises, the thesis established alternative water supply engineering support plan according to the process model, analyzed and evaluated it with comprehensive evaluation and fuzzy gray relative analysis method, selected the excellent water supply engineering support plan. Through the optimization of the plan, it is completely adapt to the specific needs of modern warfare.This study not only provides an decision-making method of expanding water supply engineering support plan,but also can fully enhance the efficiency and capacity of water supply.It has great practical applied value.
