Since the founding, China has built numerous hydraulic projects and the development of hydropower resources has achieved remarkable success. Meanwhile, it is required that the hydraulic projects should run safely and long. For the reason that improving the concrete durability and extending the service life of hydraulic buildings, the study on degradation and deterioration prediction of hydraulic concrete becomes important subject in the field of hydraulic engineering.It is significant for the safety and durability of hydraulic concrete that monitoring the health conditions and carrying out proper maintenance management. For this reason, concept of Management System of Hydraulic Concrete is proposed in this paper. Condition registration, state evaluation, deterioration prediction, and investment decision are made by the system for the concrete of existing hydraulic structure. Using the system, Management contents of hydraulic concrete can be coordinated and the management can be promoted to be systematic.Simplified management system of hydraulic concrete is established in this paper. State evaluation is made based on degradation integral model, and then deterioration of hydraulic concrete is predicted.This paper focuses on the establishment of prediction model of hydraulic concrete, and the main contents are as follows:1. As the basis of concrete state evaluation, the degradation integral model is established.2. As the precondition of concrete deterioration prediction, the state evaluation system is established. Based on the concrete inspection results of defects, the classification of diseases and grading of degradation degree are put forward in this paper. And the state evaluation system of hydraulic concrete is established based on degradation integral model.3. The deterioration prediction model is established. Related contents of Markov theory are introduced in this paper, and then the deterioration prediction model body is establishment according to the professional characteristics of hydraulic concrete discipline. Combined with related contents of numerical analysis, the optimization idea is introduced to optimize the deterioration model in this paper.The follow-up study is prospected in this paper, which aims at improving and optimizing the deterioration prediction model of hydraulic concrete.
