Injecting system is one of the most important systems for the synchrotron radiation light source which is storage ring. It has important impact that injection regime and the performance of injecting system on performance of the light source. The theoretical study of beam injection and the study of the injection system technology are very important to the physical design of synchrotron radiation light source and the upgrade.This thesis elaborates the physical processes of the beam injection of circa, and gives a brief review about the main injection scheme of circa, and introduces the local bump-orbit injection system of the HLSâ…¡using four kicker magnets. Then, the thesis gives analysis to local bump-orbit injection scheme in terms of the advantages and disadvantages.Pulsed multipole magnet injection scheme is a novel injection method, which is developed in storage ring in recent years. The thesis describes the design theory and the design method, and applies the principle to Hefei Light Source, and studies the application feasibility. Furthermore, the design parameters are optimized. In addition, this paper simulates injection process by simulation program. Through a quantitative analysis of the performance of the injected beam and the stored beam during injection process, the result suggests that the HLSâ…¡storage ring could complete the beam injection process using the pulsed quadrupole magnet efficiently,.At the same time, the instability of the stored beam could be reduced, and the lighting performance is also improved.According to the design parameters of the injection system of the HLSâ…¡using pulsed quadrupole magnet, this thesis studies the physical design of pulsed quadrupole magnet. Eddy current effect has impact on spatial distribution and temporal distribution of the magnetic field, and this paper gives a quantitative analysis about the influence by OPERA-3D/ELEKTRA/SS/TR. The eddy current effect could be restrained effectively by selecting suitable magnet material. Finally, the pulsed quadrupole magnetic field which meets physical design requirements will be obtained.Research shows that HLSâ…¡could realize beam injection by the injection system using pulsed quadrupole magnet in physically and technically. Compared to local bump-orbit injection system, the new injection system not only completes the beam injection and accumulation process, but also helps reduce the number of the component, consequently, the building costs will be reduced, and the reliability will be improved.
