The switched reluctance motor (SRM) has caused extensive concern over the recent years due to its simple structure and resilience to harsh operating conditions. The introduction of bearingless technology could fully take advantage of the high-speed ability of SRM. Meanwhile, the active control, over the unbalanced radial force between stator and rotor poles, is suitable for avoiding the vibration and noise in SRM.This paper takes the 12/8 stator pole dual-winding bearingless switched reluctance motor (BSRM) as the object of study, for the problem of rotor magnetic eccentric existing in the actual running of rotor, and researches the unbalance vibration suppression methods from the points of control strategies and winding structures, respectively. At last, the open-phase operation of the bearingless switched reluctance motor is researched. The suspension principle of BSRM is description briefly. Then the derivation ideas and the application characteristics of existing mathematical models are analyzed and summarized, which provide design basis of eccentric vibration control strategies. Then, for the problem of rotor mass eccentric caused by mechanical unbalance, this paper uses the adaptable cave filter based on least-mean-square algorithm to compensate the unbalanced vibration displacement. It introduces the generation reasons, analyzes the features of vibration displacement, introduces in detail the theory and design of adaptable cave filter, and makes the simulation and experiment verification of this plan.Control strategy is not the only way for vibration suppression. For the problem of rotor magnetic eccentric, this paper researches the impact of rotor eccentricity upon vibration of stator and rotot when the main winding is under different connections. It proposes the combination of main winding that can reduce the eccentric vibration of BSRM.Finallly, the control strategy of open-phase operation is researched. The stator vibration during normal and open-phase operation are analyzed. The simulation and experiment are presented and the results are compared to virify the validity of the control strategy.
