As the key component in mechanical transmission system, water lubricated rubber-alloy bearing makes good use of composite material in place of costly metal and is lubricated by water instead of mineral oil. It has been widely used for its advantage of resource-conserving, eco-friendly, simple structure and high performance. But, some problems such as uneven heating, time-consuming for vulcanizing, low productivity and high labor intensity have long accompanied the vulcanizing molding process. As a result, it can hardly achieve the desired effect in aspects of bearing capacity, operating rate, friction, dimensional stability and surface roughness. Therefore, it is necessary to solve these problems by designing an appliance with advantage of even heating, short time and high efficiency.The dissertation stems from the item " The innovation design theory and method of large size and high specific pressure water lubricating bearing system "(50775230) importantly supported by the Fund of Country Physical Science. Based on the precision mold for water lubricated rubber-alloy bearing which was invented by Professor Wang Jiaxu, and focused on solving these technical difficulties mentioned above, this paper has designed a novel water lubricated rubber-alloy bearing precision mold. The mainresearch work is summarized as follows:1. Analyze the development situation of domestic and international water lubrication rubber alloy bearing mould plate vulcanizing device, point out vulcanization forming process problems existed with the traditional device and compare the relative merits of heating mode.2. Analyze the rubber vulcanization forming process thoroughly and meticulously and sum up the vulcanizing properties, which lay the foundation of mould design.3. By researching the problems in two-flat-heating type used in the traditional molding process and combining the practical process, this paper has preliminary designed the assembly drawing and critical components of the mould for one size water lubrication rubber alloy bearing.4. The static analysis and dynamics analysis conducted with the ABAQUS software for the precision mold shall be the preliminary evidence for behavior of auto mold open.5. This paper has introduced the physical map of key parts. The test of using new mould for vulcanizing forming proves the design works.
