The railwa y brid ge is an important part of modern transportation, and the security ofbrid ge use has a significa nt influence on the nationa l economy,So the brid ge health needslong-term detection. Due to technical level of railwa y brid ge detection,the safety testing hasbeen artificia lly method in our country,and using the cable way which is tedious and waste oftime .In view of the applica tion of embedded handheld device in industria l control and thepresent status of brid ge detection system of railwa y brid ge health in our country, such ascomplicated structure,expensive cost and the difficulty, and according to the whole subjectneeds,a handheld receiving termina l of detection system proposed. This termina l scheme wasbased on ARM9 hardware platform, embedded Windows CE platform and Wi-Fi Radiocommunication technology, it could receive various parameters by wireless mode, and carryon data display, alarm, storage, query and so on. The staff can directly access the parametersinformation of the current brid ge condition, by the operating system's friend ly ma n-machineinterface, and analysis the changing trend of the railwa y brid ge parameters by historica l dataquery, thus could meet the requirements of long-term detection.In this paper, first, the applica tion of the detection system of brid ge health at home andabroad and the development of Embedded Technology is described. Secondly, by analyzingthe detection system of railwa y brid ge health working principle and function of the dema ndfor handheld devices, a Windows CE-based embedded the detection system of railwa y brid gehealth receiving termina l program to receive parameters of brid ge health is proposed in thispaper.Subsequently, the article introduced in detail the specific handheld receiving termina lprocess of design, including: the selection of embedded processor core and the ma in interface circuit; the customization and transpla ntation of embedded Windows CE operating systemsoftware platform customization and transpla ntation; the receiving termina l applica tionsoftware development under Embedded Visua l C++ integrated development environment.At the end of this paper, the applica tion software of receiving termina l was tested. Thewireless communication function was tested in the simulation environment, and the datadispla y,storage,query,early warning and so on were tested also. The result tested indica tes thatthe applica tion software machieves the design requirements basica lly.
