There are all kinds of reasons can result in elevator faults, but eventually elevator will happen to be fault stop to avoid an accident under the protection of elevator safetysystem. Furthermore, Computer software can play an important role in the process of elevator inspection. This dissertation focused on the research and development of the remote monitoring terminal of elevator fault stop andelevator inspection aided software based on the project of the China Special Equipment Inspection Institute of elevator inspection aided system.Firstly, the dissertation designed the frameworkof remotemonitoring terminal of elevator fault stop and elevator inspection aided software by analyzing current research due to the weakness of current elevator inspection. In the terminal, S3C2440 is the CPU of the minimal system,the operation system is Windows Embedded CE 6.0,the laser sensor is used to measure the car position,ADXL345 is the chip of acceleration sensor, and the way of data transmission is GPRS(General Packet Radio Service).Based on the framework of Client/Server, the elevator inspection aided software consists of the inspection data management module, the calculation module of the natural frequency, the filter module of the terminal acceleration. There are there parts in the server including the library of the calculation module of the natural frequency, the library of the wavelet filter module of the terminal acceleration and database of the software. The technology of the client development is Windows Store App. Furthermore, the server communicates with the client by means of Web Service.Secondly, the dissertation designed the hardware of the terminal base on selection of development board, laser sensor, acceleration sensor and GPRSmodule. Windows Embedded CE 6.0 is transplanted according to the characteristics of the board. The elevator fault stop monitoring software is developed based on analyzing the characteristics of elevator fault stop.Thirdly, based on the analyzing the demand of the elevator inspection aided software, the calculation module of the natural frequency and the filter module of the acceleration are developed by the hybrid programming of C# and Matlab.Additionally, the management module of elevator inspection data is designed according to the specification of TSG T7001-2009 using C# and XAML.In order to reduce the Coupling among the modules of the software, the library of MVVM(Model-View-View Model)and the library of communication are developed.Finally, the terminal was installed on an elevator in Hangzhou to monitor elevator fault stop. The test result showed the function of the terminal running well, and can help to make the plan of elevator inspection in reason. Additionally, the dissertation designed experiment tested the elevator inspection aided software, and the test result showed the basic function of the software is achieved.
