With the development of underwater acoustic technology and marine military strategicrequirements, underwater acoustic transducers mainly toward low frequencies,broadband,high-power, small size direction.In kinds of transducers, the longitudinal vibration transducer is ahotspot of research on underwater acoustic transducer, and still indispensable in the field ofunwater acoustic transducer. How do broadband of the longitudinal vibration transducer improve,there are many different design ideas and methods at home and abroad.Meet in the otherslongitudinal vibration transducers, the double exciting source transducer has the advantages ofstructure compactness, easy to disposal and No-affected by the boundary.I have successfullyachieved longitudinal vibration transducer broadband work through the matching layertechnology and vertical bending coupling technique, but the double excitation source and supplelayer of longitudinal vibration transducer broadband reserch exchange lags behind.The paper mainly focuses on the broadband of the longitudinal vibration transducer bydouble exciting source technology, further research the double drive source transducer partsinfluence on the transmitting voltage response on the theoretical basis of former scholar,especially around the mutual coupling with the former and rear crystal heap and the middle mass.And a double exciting source broadband transducer was designed by utilizing double incentivesource technology in this paper, the bandwith is20~40kHz. The transmitting voltage response ofthe doubly exciting transducer became more smoothly through the matching layer technology.Furthermore, the compliant layer longitudinal vibration transducer was explored preliminarily.Theoretical and experimental show that the double exciting source is an effective methodwhich is broaden working frequency band of the longitudinal vibration transducer. The watersound performance of longitudinal vibration transducer was improved through the adjustment ofthe former and rear crystal heap and the changing of electrical connections.Experimental results show: The working frequency band of the double exciting sourcelongitudinal vibration transducer is22kHz~45kHz, the bandwidth is23kHz, and the fluctuationis7dB.By introducing the matching layer technique, the working frequency band reduce to19kHz~43kHz, the fluctuation of The transmitting voltage response reduces to4dB, and themaximum TVR reaches143dB. The compliant layer longitudinal vibration transducer wasdesigned in this paper, its working frequency band is22kHz~45kHz, the bandwidth is22kHz,and the fluctuation is9dB. Obviously, the double exciting source technology is more beneficialto widen the frequency band of longitunal vibration transducer than the compliant layer technology.
