| About a hundred years ago, working meant a group of people gathering at same time at some specific location and collaborating with each other. By the1980s, a new way of working style has begun to appear accompanied by new technologies, but may not be in a so prevalent way. But nowadays, the technology improvement again has made it is possible for the cheap devices and applications such as mobile phones, laptops and email, etc., these strong technical capabilities plus the new way of working style has thus brought about completely changes in office life. Traditional architectural pattern now no longer suit the current fashion and in this digital age, companies which wishing to improve efficiency of manpower, it is necessary to conduct a thorough re-thinking and re-designing of the working places, hence presenting the diversity style of office space for us.In this paper, we use offices’from Zhejiang Yinjian Company Limited as our main study case, combining with in-depth research of current background in industry and related area. We studied from the increasing emphasis on the trend of developing more humanity, diversity, scientific, technical, artistic style of modern new office space, then applied it into practice to the design of for the Yinjian offices’space, we consider the company’s own background, some practical issues has been analyzed, refined and we finally chose the simple European style of modern design as the main line. How to use design features to create a comfortable, convenient, sanitary, safe and efficient working environment will be the focus and concern of this entire thesis.We conduct our study firstly by look at international cases of office design style, focusing on analysis of office space style design impact on human psychology, aesthetics and spatial layouts. Secondly, from a theoretical point of view combined with the plans and wishes proposed by company itself. Finally, from a practical level, office space is a public domain that we should take care of each person’s needs, such as aesthetic and functional requirements. The design we gave had fulfilled expectation of the staffs and extension of our work are scalable to the future different business functions and visions. |
