With the applying of electronic control technology and modern control theory in vehicle.The auto have a big improvement in various aspects of performance.As two important subsystems of vehicle chassis, Anti-lock braking system(ABS) and semi-active suspension system (SAS) make a progress on braking safety and vehicle ride comfort.However, these two subsystems only can improve one performance of vehicle.Adding two subsystems together directly can not improve the vehicle’s whole performance.It depend on the integrated work of each subsystems.This paper established the vehicle dynamic model parametric modeling based CarSim software to be a stage of control simulation, according to the foundation of this model, analyzing the work process of the ABS and SAS system an. The fuzzy control rules have designed respectively by fuzzy logic control theory and ABS、SAS system fuzzy controller have also designed respectively in the Matlab/Simulink software environment.Using the CarSim-Simulink co-simulation method, the simulation result show that the ABS and SAS system fuzzy controller can improve its performance effectively compared with the system without controlling.Because the two sub-systems exist mutual coupling effect when working alone, the whole vehicle’s performance can’t improve.Through the chassis dynamics analysis between the vehicle brake system and suspension system, obtained the result which under the working condition of vehicle braking, automotive anti-lock braking system and semi-active suspension system to contact each other through the wheel vertical load.Base on the automotive anti-lock braking system and the semi-active suspension system work separately, the coordinated controller was designed by the use of the idea of integrated control, through the coordinated controller to eliminate the coupling of the two systems, according to the brake condition to apply force.Through the simulation of the joint of CarSim and Simulink, the simulation results show that compared with the two sub-systems separately control, the design of the coordinate controller can effectively reduce the braking time and braking distance, compared with the passive suspension,it can improves the brake safety and ride comfort.
