Taking the Hulan campus of Heilongjiang University as a test area, combined with the previous research has been done on the monitoring work, this paper put forward two research purposes: 1) Quantitative method of water physical property parameters of frozen soil is proposed for the measurement of permeability coefficient and non closed porosity; 2) Identifying the affecting factors of frozen soil layer water physical property, researching the the influence of the initial frozen water contents on the porosity and permeability. There are four contents for the purposes: 1) Pointing out the concept of frozen soil water physical properties characteristic parameters mainly include Frozen soil permeability coefficient, Frozen non closed porosity, ice content of frozen soil, etc. 2) This paper defines the indoor test environment boundary condition of soil density, temperature and particle size distribution by data monitoring and data collection; 3) Selecting simulation liquid that can be used for frozen soil water physical parameters determination test; 4) This paper completed the 22 group tests by puting forward the quantitative method of non closed porosity and permeability coefficient of frozen soil with the main experimental devices of TST-70 permeameter and SPX-400F-B/D1 low-constant temperature test box. Finally, we conclude that 1)This paper chooses the 30% ethylene glycol solution with freezing point of-15.4℃ as the test liquid for the measurement of frozen soil water physical parameters;2) The text can be carried under the condition of-7.5℃ environment tempurture and 1.36g/cm3 of density of soil sample; 3) This paper discusses the relation between initial freezing water content and non closed porosity / permeability coefficient, non closed porosity / permeability coefficient decrease with the increasing of initial freezing water content.
