Six-rotor aircraft detection system is an optical, mechanical and electrical equipment which is used for aerial surveillance and observation missions. Its main principle is took the detection system to the location we need through six-rotor aircraft carrying platform, and then do the monitoring&tracking job. Six-rotor aircraft is chosen as the carrying platform, mainly because it has the features with high load capacity, flight stability, long duration and higher safety and reliability. Six-rotor aircraft detection system is composed of aircraft system and detection system.When it works the two main subsystems do not interference with each other.When design the mechanical systems of six-rotor aircraft, the first step is to finish the job of designing aerodynamic configuration、connectors and cloud deck. In order to make sure the safty of the cloud deck under heavy loads, The cloud deck adopted enclosed design. We used a shaft as the linkage between support unit and power unit, and the transmission was by two gears, assisted achieving full rotation. the control system between aircraft and cloud deck adopted independent structure design method, so we can keep the stability of the system.Secondly we have fully analysed the compatibility of the dictation system and the aircraft system. When we designed the dictation system, we should fully considered how to fix the infrared detector and how to install and adjust the CCD detector,so that we can adjust the optical axis of the two detectors and make the visible light image and the infrared image be matched. We realized the aircraft carrying image fusion system for the first time, satisfied the aerial detection demand of 24 hours.When six-rotor aircraft detection system flying in the sky, the atmospheric circulation is complicated, in order to ensure that the system is safe and reliable, we should research aerodynamic of aircraft.According to blade element theory,we finished the pull derivation of single rotor, by means of test validation,we get the theoretical value of overall lift, and make it satisfied the requirement of stable fligh;After completed the design of the aircraft three-dimensional structure, we have checked the security and stability of the detection system through the finite element software-ABAQUS.After finished the assembly and debugging of the machine, According to optical axis adjusting experiment,indoor imaging experiment and surveillance experiments. It showed that the air surveillance performance in the sky of six-rotor aircraft detection system is good and can obtained clear target image.In the end we present further research content.
